Cultivating Hub Connections

Building Connections for a Resilient Future
The Oʻahu Resilience Hub Learning Community recently met with the Lāhui Foundation in Lā’ie for a powerful and inspiring gathering. Together, we explored new ideas, strengthened relationships, and laid the groundwork for meaningful partnerships that will shape the future of this project.
This meeting not only sparked fresh possibilities but also deepened the connections that will help our communities grow stronger, more resilient, and more united moving forward.

Connecting at the Koʻolau Symposium
Our team attended the Koʻolau Symposium hosted by Vibrant Hawaiʻi, connecting with resilience hubs across the region and hearing from partners like the Lāhui Foundation, Hawaiʻi Foodbank, Kinai ʻEha, the Red Cross, and others doing vital community work. The gathering offered valuable time to network, share stories, and strengthen partnerships that support community readiness. Mahalo to everyone for your dedication to building a strong and resilient future.
Resilience in Action: The 2026 O’ahu Resilience Hub Summit
We proudly hosted the first‑ever 2026 Oʻahu Resilience Hub Summit at Camp Pālehua. Over two days, resilience hubs, state agencies, and community partners came together to build skills in emergency communication, CEAP and HHARP planning, and Psychological First Aid — all while deepening relationships that strengthen Oʻahu’s islandwide resilience network.
The Summit also created space for reflection and connection through Sunset Forest Bathing and a fireside conversation with Next Gen youth, grounding the work in ʻāina, community, and shared kuleana.
